Lowfields Overview
If peace, tranquillity and relaxation are important factors in your choice of holiday location, then Lowfields is the ideal park for you. The setting is stunning with 8 woodland surrounded lakes with an abundance of nature. The lakes are large, mature and well stocked with fish of all kinds and sizes including Mirror, Common, Crucian and Ghost Carp, Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Ide and Golden Orfe.
If fishing isn’t your hobby then Lowfields still has plenty to offer with scenic walks around the lakes and Lincolnshire, lots of variations of nature to enjoy, and plenty of activities nearby. The park has an air of peace and tranquillity that most parks can never achieve.
The two main lakes date back to the late 1700s when the setting was used as a clay brick working, providing the finest brick materials for local dwellings. The site then became an established fishery in the early 1900s. The name ‘Lowfields’ was established in 1987 and since then we have nurtured a site of high quality and standards which has gained the prestigious David Bellamy GOLD Conservation Award.
We acknowledge that people want a beautiful site where quality reigns throughout, with lots to do and see in the surrounding local area and luxurious Caravan Holiday Homes with plenty of models to choose from. Exclusivity is a very important factor at Lowfields and no day ticket fishing is allowed. All of this has achieved Lowfields an envious reputation as the ‘Premier Angling Venue in the East of England’.
